my favourite advert was for smash potatoes it showed aliens discussing the fact that humans would peel potatoes, then boil them and then smash them to pieces rather than simply use a packet of Smash. i like this advert because they made the everyday act of preparing mashed potatoes seem so silly at the end the aliens fell about laughing and i always laughed along.
